In an attempt to one-up her smart sister, Hannah Lynn Crane copies her by writing a book. When she finds out her friend Barbara from Scrabble Group used to write romance novels, she enlists her help. Together they start brainstorming a daring age-gap romance novel, but when Barbara mysteriously disappears right before tackling the sex scenes, Hannah is left to her own devices. She falls down a dangerously addictive, GILF-riddled path to learn what being smart actually means.
